Our aircraft are modern, perfectly maintained Diamond DA20, DA40 and Cessna Skyhawk 172S aircraft, all equipped with G1000 and G500 glass panels. While some people think glass panel avionics are complex, they’re actually much easier to fly than a traditional round gauge avionics. Your Primary Flight Display (PFD) has all the normal gauges, but they’re laid out in a way that’s more intuitive and easier to quickly interpret in a high workload environment. The Multi Function Display (MFD) also gives you necessary information at your fingertips during your flight, allowing the pilot to complete tasks quickly and efficiently.
Here at Crosswinds, we are big believers in the fact that distractions in the cockpit can be something in the chain of events to an accident. We fix everything in our airplanes whether it’s functional or cosmetic, required by the FAA or not. We treat all of the aircraft as if we’re flying our own families, so we make sure everything is fixed and the workload is reduced to a minimum for the pilots who fly our planes. You can feel confident knowing that when it’s time for your flight lesson or plane rental, the airplane will always be available and ready to go.
