Reminder: High School Parents Night – Oct. 28

EXCITING ADDITION: Weather permitting, Great Lakes Diamond will bring their motor glider for our High School Parents night at Crosswinds Aviation on October 28th at 6pm. We are strongly considering adding this motor glider to our fleet of aircraft so our students can achieve a Private Pilot glider and single-engine land rating as part of our Private Pilot curriculum. This could be a nice competitive advantage for our High School students getting both ratings before going to a collegiate program. Not to mention, gliding is fun!

During the parents night, we will help you understand the process of becoming a pilot as a career, the different paths to take, and how Crosswinds Aviation can help facilitate getting started. Please click here for more information on our events page and to RSVP.

We will also have WMU and NMC programs on Oct. 28 at Oct. 29 at Crosswinds Aviation:

WMU Visit – Oct. 28, 3pm – 5pm
Matt Thaler from Western Michigan University’s Aviation Program will be here to discuss and answer questions about their program. Please see the WMU Visit event page on our website for more details.

NMC Visit – Oct. 29, 3pm – 5pm
Al Laursen from Northwestern Michigan College’s Aviation Program will be here to discuss and answer questions about their program. Please see the NMC Visit event page on our website for more details.
